Eagle's Nest House

A stone house high in the mountains, overlooking the Boesmanskloof trail and the natural rock pools of the Gobos River.

A stone house for a group

Tightly nestled in the heart of the Riviersonderend mountains, between the twin villages of Greyton and McGregor, this double-storey stone house overlooks the Boesmanskloof hiking trail. It is about two hours from Cape Town along Route 62, with mountain views in every direction and the rock pools of the Gobos River close by.

Inside there is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, and an open-plan lounge with an indoor braai. Glass sliding doors open onto a deck with a stone braai and views across the mountains, and there is a swimming pool to cool off in. It is made for groups of six or more: family gatherings, hiking parties, or a get-together with friends.
